It began in a small town called Sathyamangalam.

I grew up around sarees. In Sathyamangalam, they were part of ordinary life as much as weddings, temples and festivals.

Over time, I learnt to notice the details — how a fabric falls, how colours sit together, how a border is finished and whether a saree feels right when worn.

After moving to the city, I missed the ease of finding sarees that were beautiful, wearable and honestly priced.

That led me to speak with manufacturers and textile suppliers and eventually begin Vanamalika Weaves.
