One butta is predominantly woven in jari with antique-rose threadwork inside, while the next reverses the treatment—antique-rose threadwork with jari detailing within. This alternating play of colour and texture brings depth and individuality to the body. A fine jari border followed by an antique-beige border frames the drape and leads into a grand contrast pallu. The pallu carries prominent jari motifs inspired by the same form, complemented by smaller tree-like designs in antique-rose thread and richly patterned woven bands. Handwoven on traditional looms by skilled artisans, this piece reflects generations of craft heritage, where every thread carries precision, patience, and cultural continuity.
